Attempting to roll over

Monster

Beijing, China

Matt had to go to Beijing for work a couple of weeks ago.  Besides work, he toured The Forbidden City, The Great Wall at Badaling, Olypmic Village and random parts of the city.  He had a ton of fun, but was glad to be home in good 'ole Minnesota.  He really enjoyed the food and wasn't afraid to sample what the locals ate.  I asked him what his favorite food was that he had there and he replied with "The Hot Pot or Korean BBQ."  His least favorite food:  the sushi and the Frog dish for lunch one day.  For me it would be the honey flavored candies he brought back home....blech!  His favorite tourist spot: Great wall.  His least favorite tourist spot: Tiannomon Square because there wasn't anything to do there.  He also really hated how all of the food had bones in them because it made the meals really hard to eat.  The smog was a constant there and you will see it in almost all of Matt's photos.  Matt didn't like the traffic there because it was congested and it was an adventure just to cross the street since NO ONE followed the rules of green light, red light.  Enjoy the photos.  I know we did!

Rolling over, crawling and sitting up

Cecilia is a pro at sitting up, but is still working on rolling over and crawling.  She is constantly moving so Matt and I have decided to lay her on her back or stomach instead of sit her up at first so she can "practice."  She really wants to roll over and crawl, but just can't quite figure out how to make it happen.  You can tell in the videos below that she gets pretty frustrated and upset when she can't quite do it.

Eating

Cecilia has been eating a lot of squash, peas, green beans and carrots since she turned 5 months.  Her favorite thus far are green beans and her least favorite are peas.  The opposite of her mommy!
