Pinterest

I have joined the website Pinterest and it is AWESOME!  I highly recommend anyone who has time to browse their website {www.pinterest.com} and join!  You are able to make "boards" and "pin" your favorite things to each board.  My boards consist of Travel, People, DIY, Party ideas, Dream Home, family christmas card ideas, etc.  Please check out my pinterest site: http://pinterest.com/akorkowski/ to get an idea of how AWESOME this website is!  It's so nice because I can save and organize all of my ideas in one website rather than adding each individual website to my computer favorites.  For example, I am planning our family christmas cards right now and I have a board dedicated to just that.  I have saved card images and photographs on the board for ideas that I like.  I have found these images on Pinterest while browsing friends or random peoples boards as well as on other websites.  Please check it out and email me {joplin_41@hotmail.com} if you would like a friend invite!

Where to begin...

Clearly, a lot has taken place since our last blog entry on May 1st!!!  A quick update:

{1}  Cecilia began to crawl when she turned 10 months!

{2}  Cecilia began to say "mama" and "dada" and "argh"

{3}  Cecilia began to furniture walk around 10 1/2 months and stand on her own around 12 1/2 months!

{4}  As of today, Cecilia has two teeth {two BOTTOM teeth} popping up.  Thankfully, she has not had a         fever or any fuss with her teeth yet!

{5}  Currently, Cecilia likes to eat the following foods:  chicken, fish, avocado, toast, scrambled eggs, saltine crackers, yogurt, anything with cheese, french fries of any variety, buttered noodles, anything sweet and her mommy's coffee!

{6}  Cecilia now sits in a forward facing carseat.  She is a big girl after all!

{7}  Cecilia helps mommy and daddy around the house by picking up after herself and putting lids back on containers {with the help of mommy and daddy, of course!}

{8}  Cecilia can not go anywhere without her books!  Car, store, basement you name it!

{9}  Cecilia has began to sleep with a flat pillow and feels very special when she goes to bed now!

{10} As of not too long ago, Cecilia dances!  Well, she shakes her head a lot while mommy and daddy chant "Go Cecilia Go!"

{11} Cecilia tries to get into the bathtub by herself and she cries bloody murder if it isn't bath night!

{12} Cecilia has successfully climbed up the stairs {twice!} without mommy and daddy being around.  Thank goodness for child proof EVERYTHING!

{13} Cecilia is officially off of formula and is drinking whole milk!  She would only drink milk everyday if she had it her way.

{14} Cecilia turned ONE on August 26th and we had a BIG party with family and friends!!

As of her 12 month checkup, Cecilia weighs 18lbs and is 28" tall.  Our little peanut!  I wish I had more time to update Cecilia's blog, but our girl is busy and doesn't believe in naps anymore!  To make up for the lack of updates this summer, please enjoy the pictures below!
