My brother, Kevin, came down to visit during his spring break. Let me tell ya, Cecilia LOVES her uncle Kevin. Everytime he entered the room she smiled and everytime he left the room she looked for him. Matt, Kevin, Cecilia and I went to watch the Fighting Sioux hockey team play for the WCHA championship (which they won!!). Cecilia stayed awake the entire game and even had fun! She loved to watch the lights at the Xcel Energy Center and she even managed to flirt with the people sitting around us.
Game Face
Cecilia really loves looking at herself in mirrors. She has several toys, including her bouncer, that has mirrors on or in them. What's so funny is that she literally presses her entire face up against the mirror to look at herself.
No teeth, yet, but she sure is drooling a lot and smacking her lips and tongue a lot. We are hoping some pop through soon because we are tired of being covered in drool all day long.
Cecilia has continued to eat her veggies and now eats bananas, apples, peaches, blueberries, pears, turkey, chicken and sweet potatoes. But, her most favorite is her banana flavored oatmeal. We have tryed giving her apple juice straight and mixed with water. She doesn't quite like it yet. She also doesn't like drinking liquids out of her sippy cup, but will drink what you're drinking out of your cup! Matt and I thought we would give her a bite of our vanilla ice cream from DQ. Well, now she wants ice cream everytime we have ice cream. She really likes it, but vanilla is the only flavor she has had and that Matt and I will let her have for the time being. Granted, she only gets about 5-6 bites, but she would probably eat a whole bowl if she could!
Cecilia recently started doing a fake cough. She thinks it's really funny but Mom and Dad hope that phase passes before too long...

One last thing. Cecilia finally likes taking a bath!! Yay! She splashes and plays with her toys and usually doesn't want us to take her out of the water.
